The hamlet of Weissenburgberg lies at an altitude
of 950 meters above sea level and offers peace and quiet and beautiful
vistas into the Simmental and towards the mountain Niesen.
Two hiking trails lead past Chalet Michèle - one leading
to the to the local mountain Stockhorn, the other, called Simmentaler
Hausweg, runs between the towns of Wimmis and Boltigen. The forest
and nature reserve Weissenburg is also nearby.
